    Key Accounts Manager

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric Certificate/Grade 12
    • Minimum sales experience of 5 years
    • Certificate or Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing
    • Good Communication Skills
    • Computer literacy
    • Independent, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
    • Professionalism
    • In depth industry and product knowledge
    • Analytically / figure inclined.
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Be able to Travel
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Sales:

    • To manage the Motus Parts Direct Account
    • To call on the MPD retail stores including, Midas, Motor Spares Stops. Alerts and Independents.
    • Conversion of DB1 to DB7 within the MAP retail group
    • Ensure the MPD retail budget is achieved through marketing and sales initiatives.
    • Maintain and increase market share within area of responsibility
    • Adhere to Company Discount Policy
    • Communicate market opportunities to management and other departments
    • Introduce new products into the MPD stores and market.
    • Assist supplier’s co-ordinate customer training evenings.
    • Resolve supplier and MAP retail queries.
    • Liaising with the PM teams monthly
    • National marketing – be aware of all specials, promotions for the franchise base.
    • Link between MPD and Franchisee’s on regional promotions.
    • Manage Drop Shipment suppliers and orders into MPD
    • New Drop Shipment supplier introductions

    Franchise

    • Good knowledge of Franchise interior and exterior layout
    • Maintain the corporate image of the franchise stores.
    • Increase support and communication from the franchisees to PIA and Franchise office.
    • Liaise with Merchandising team and Franchise on customers merchandising needs.
    • Merchandising – ensure it is done to Franchise standards
    • Conduct the Franchisee of the Year program with the regional KAM’s
    • Support with customer and supplier signage queries
    • Push Midas branded product into the MPD Franchise stores
