Junior IT Solutions Specialist: Future Factory at Toyota

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

• IT Solutions Specialist professional is required to specialize in designing and implementing technology solutions to address specific business needs or challenges. Additionally work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, evaluate existing systems and processes, and develop customized IT solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Assess existing systems, processes, and infrastructure to understand the gaps and areas where IT solutions can add value.
• Research and development
• Support Kaizen Activities
• Maintain and update IT Systems to ensure 98% system uptime
• Project and Change Management: Schedule and chair progress meetings
• Write project status reports
• Provide feedback to management
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the IT industry and provide recommendations on adopting new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness
• Complete internal training,
• Complete external training
• Knowledge sharing

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant NQF (240 Credits) in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or sufficient relevant experience to enable functioning at the same level.
• Good Proven experience in IT solution design, implementation, and deployment
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and database systems
• Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and integrating software applications, platforms, and tools.
• Experience in solution architecture, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements.
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address business challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Knowledge of Local and Global Systems in use at TSAM
• Proficiency in Systems Design and Implementation
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years
