Job Advert Summary    

• A Junior HR Practitioner is needed at the Botshabelo Abattoir in the Free State. The Junior HR Practitioner will function as an HR Generalist that will work hand in hand with the HR Manager. 

Minimum Requirements    

• The ideal person will be in possession of a Human Resources qualification (IR, HR Degree or Diploma)
• A Minimum of three years’ experience working as an HR generalist.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Overseeing training, assessments, verifications, products Specifications etc.
• Oversee and Manage the Training Department along with Training department personnel.
• Being audited external by food safety and quality auditors
• Compiling monthly training report of all employees trained.
• Compile BBBEE monthly report.
• Running BBBEE external audits
• Compile annual training report.
• Conducting / Facilitation of Training and all Logistics involved
• Overseeing Learnership program learners, which includes but are not limited to learner inputs (Attendance/absence), learner facilitations and arrangements.
• Conducting disciplinary hearing, grievances, and inquiries
• Assist HRM/P with the formulating disciplinary charge sheets.
• Ensuring workplace discipline and progressive discipline to be adhered to
• Maintaining good employee relations and communication with external stakeholders
• Liaising with CCMA, in the absence of the HRM/P, or if directed by HRM.
• Representing the organization at CCMA, for all CCMA processes, should there be any dispute referred, in absence of HRM, or if directed by HRM/P.
• Assisting HRM/P with the handling all IR matters (Warnings, charge sheets etc.)
