Job Advert Summary    

• Nutri Feeds is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of animal feed in South Africa, we are also a world player and the first choice in animal feeds for pigs, sheep, poultry, dairy and beef cattle. The following position exists at our division in Viljoenskroon.

Minimum Requirements    
 Requirements:
 Minimum: 

• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• SAMTRAC, HIRA, Incident Investigator level 3.
• Studying towards National Diploma: Safety Management will be an added advantage.
• Own vehicle and Valid driver’s license   
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, and MSWord)
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years occupational health and safety experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in working with: OHS Act 85 of 1993, COID Act, National Environmental Management Act

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Experience in reporting of Sec. 24 and Sec. 25 incidents/accidents to the Department of Labour and COID
• Experience internal auditor, in ISO 45001 and ISO14001
• Experience external Legal Compliance Audits, ISO standards Certification audits
• Reporting and Statistics, conducting meetings and presenting Training on procedures and Induction.
• Input, development, and maintenance of site Safety Budget.
• Qualified and Experience in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment analysis and monitoring Safe Job Analysis on highest risks.
• Overseeing and enforcing all OHSAct and required Legal requirements on site.
• Manage all permanent contractors, visitors, and project contractors.
• Studying towards National Diploma: Safety Management will be an added advantage.
• Manage Safety System, documentation, and compliance to Safety System requirement
