Import Coordinator - Durban at Engen

Purpose of the Job

• Manages the strategic sourcing, imports and exports of lubricants raw materials, finished product, and packaged Chemicals, to meet desired business objectives

What you've done
Baseline:

• At least 3 years’ experience in Imports, Exports or Logistics processes
• NQF level 6 (Diploma/Advanced Certificate in Logistics/ Supply Chain or related)
• preferred B Comm Degree.
• Knowledge of Knowledge of customs, tax rules
• Knowledge of freight options & demurrage

What you'll be doing

• Manage contractual and service relationship with key Suppliers 2
• Place PO's, track orders, ETA, and update internal customers
• Import & export Permit applications and renewals
• Monitor bulk claims, demurrage, and standing time claims
• Manage COF and SLA's with Suppliers and Clearing agents
• Clearing agents and transporters managed
• Diligence in completing documentation for Imports , tax, customs and excise ,demurrage, claims
• Coordinate the imports of lubricants raw materials, finished product, and packaged Chemicals, to meet desired business objectives
