    IMG - FCSD Recall Supervisor (Direct Markets)

    Description

    FCSD lead for IMG Import / Domestic FSAs / Recalls / Investigations / 14Ds and Supporting market leads on FSA / Recall issues as required.

    Key Deliverables in position

    • Timely and accurate FSA / Recalls launch to IMG Direct Markets.
    • Maintain robust data analysis and reporting work practices.
    • Ensure measurable benchmarks and metrics are maintained.
    • Strengthen the relationship between the IMG Recalls team and Direct Market Service teams.
    • Strengthen the relationships with Global Recall Counterparts and Global ASO / CCM functions.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position

    Field Service Actions (FSA) / Recalls Pre-launch Activities:

    • FCSD lead for IMG Import / Domestic FSAs / Recalls / Investigations / 14Ds
    • Liaising with IMG and Global ASO and CCM teams.
    • Liaising with IMG PS&L and Finance teams.
    • Liaising with 14D team to determine Repair Solutions / Service fixes.
    • Support IMG and Global 14D meetings / Concern Investigations
    • Develop repair procedures.
    • Develop Vehicle Targeting (Utilizing GRID, GCAMP and GSAR applications).
    • Develop Service Parts requirements.
    • Develop FSA finances and approvals.
    • FSA Parts Analysis for all IMG Direct Markets
    • Liaise with IMG PS&L for ordering and tracking parts.
    • Writing, Developing and/or Localizing Global FSA / Recall Bulletins, Repair documentation.
    • Writing, Developing and/or Localizing Global FSA / Recall Owner Letters.
    • Approvals of FSA / Recall Bulletins, Repair documentation and Owner Letters.
    • Launching FSA / Recall Bulletins into Ford’s Professional Technician System (PTS).
    • Launching FSA / Recall into Ford’s Global Campaign database (GCAMP).
    • Launch and monitor FSAs and Recalls in Ford’s Global Recall and Implementation Database (GRID).

    Field Service Actions (FSA) / Recalls Post-launch Activities:

    • Supporting market leads on FSA / Recall issues as required.
    • Liaising with Global LVEA teams on FSA issues as required.
    • Support IMG Recall team for Global Recall Implementation Database (GRID) analysis.
    • Supporting and coaching Direct markets / Distributors and Dealers in all facets of Recalls and FSAs.
    • Supporting Ministry communication for required countries.
    • Monitoring Completion Rates and developing strategies to improve FSA / Recall Completion Rates.
    • Resolving Recall and FSA Warranty claim issues.

    Qualifications Required

    Tertiary qualification in Engineering degree (Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or similar) and have strong technical competency in the Automotive sector. Alternatively, applicants with an Accredited Automotive Trade Qualification and significant industry experience will also be considered.

    In addition to the Qualifications Required below, it is expected the applicant will have

    • 5-10 years’ workplace experience within the Automotive Industry (Service or Product Development).
    • Broad knowledge of vehicle systems. Diesel and Electrical Diagnostics preferred.
    • Broad knowledge of technical publications.
    • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and build high performing teams.
    • Display managerial courage and be willing to present the facts to various levels of leadership.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
    • Meticulous time management and planning skills.
    • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Understanding of Global System for Analytics and Research (GSAR).
    • Detailed working understanding of the Global Campaign system (GCAMP).
    • Detailed working understanding of the Global Recalls Implementation database (GRID).
    • Display a passion for the industry and a drive for results.
    • Capable of working in a confidential environment.
    • Sensitive to cultural diversity.
    • Flexibility to participate with global time zones.
