Job Description

• Our company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Money Management to lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our collections and disbursements capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of robust operational structures and processes, while also setting the strategic direction for the function to ensure it remains at the forefront of industry trends and developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure accurate, timely, and robust raising, collection, and matching of policy contributions.
• Oversee the disbursement of payments and effective servicing of all money in and out exceptions.
• Evaluate and implement collection and payment technologies, trends, tools, and techniques across all market segments.
• Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors and providers of collection and payment technologies.
• Build, manage, and motivate a team of money management professionals.
• Provide leadership and direction to the money management team, setting performance goals, and ensuring they are met.
• Develop and maintain effective reporting and monitoring processes to ensure that money management targets are met.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with successful money management, including collection rate success (across channels/segments etc) payment accuracy, exception handling turnaround time, customer satisfaction, cost-to-collect etc

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant highly preferred
• A proven track record leading money management large-scale money management functions, specifically experience in collections and payments.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful money management strategies.
• Strong knowledge of collection and payment technologies, trends, tools, and techniques across all market segments.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
