Head: Business Insurance at MiWay Insurance Limited

What will you do?

• We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to head up MiWay Face to Face Commercial Insurance by taking accountability for the overall business strategy, operational execution and results. Feel you can make a difference then read further.   

Minimum Qualification Required

• Relevant tertiary qualification – minimum NQF 6

Minimum Experience Required

• A minimum of 5 years’ senior managerial experience in short-term insurance
• Direct Commercial insurance experience and knowledge
• Proven track record of successful distribution of commercial products through multiple direct distribution channels.  
• Experience in strategic business management. 

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that the business unit executes the agreed business plan successfully.
• To develop an effective sales strategy with accurate sales measurements (metrics) and timelines to ensure the achievement of all key performance objectives effecting profitability.
• To execute operational plan in order to achieve strategic objectives across distribution channels, customer experience and claims.
• To monitor trends and market developments to guide product development
