    Group Human Resource Business Partner

    Job Description

    • To drive, coordinate and manage transactional HR processes across the Group. The incumbent provides tactical strategies, develops policy and provides hands-on support for the HR function in the areas of recruitment and selection, employee relations, HR analytics, rewards and business partnering.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    Co-create tactical strategies and lead disciplines (streams) in portfolio:

    • Develop tactical strategies for the teams / disciplines in portfolio (i.e., recruitment and selection, rewards, HR Analytics and enterprise-wide business partnering).
    • Streamline the generalist HR function (at Head Office and Hospital Facilities) and drive alignment, collaboration and synergy between different stakeholders to provide comprehensive and standardized HR services.
    • Drive the implementation of integrated HR governance, compliance, integrity and ethics frameworks throughout the division.

    Lead the development of policies, standards and procedure guides:

    • Guides and oversees the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of relevant HR policies and procedures in order to ensure that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled in line with the requirements while maintaining high level of efficiency in achieving objectives. 
    • Set goals and standards for Transactional HR to support the business plans and ensure adherence across the Group.
    • Support and guide other business functions to achieve operational success and ensure excellent HR services delivery.
    • Collaborates with Line Managers to help guide and communicate relevant CHG policies and establishes its linkage with their human resources requirements.
    • Contributes to the development of Human Resources strategy and implementation with advanced expertise knowledge and oversees its effectiveness to be aligned with the long-term objectives for CHG.
    • Provides advice to managers and employees on challenging employee relations issues.
    • Leads investigations and resolutions on allegations, work complaints or other employee concerns.

    Develop and deliver integrated transactional HR services:

    • Develop and manage recruitment and selection standards for the organisation, including implementing and continually developing robust recruitment processes.
    • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, website advertising, updating of the company resource plan, sifting and selection of CV’s, attending interviews and selecting candidates.
    • Develop a skills acquisition framework for the organisation for partnering with external skills providers and platforms (i.e. recruitment agencies, job boards, etc).
    • Partner with line managers to project and manage organisational and procedural changes within the business area.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to establish HR Data standards and ensure the maintenance thereof.
    • To facilitate as a mediator when required to try and resolve employee grievances.
    • Provides competitive market research and prepares pay studies to help establish pay practices that help to recruit and retain critical skills.
    • Complies with and ensures compliance with all existing Labour law and reporting requirements.

    Drive effective problem solving and continuous improvement:

    • Identify and manage problems, escalated issues and operational risks.
    • Analyse data, and interpret the trends to inform sound decision-making and ensure contingency plans are in place.
    • Conduct international benchmarking to stay abreast of competitive best practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Honors Degree in Huma Resource Management.
    • 7-10 Years experience in Human Resource Generalist experience.
    • 3 years of people management experience.

    Skills/ Abilities:

    • Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Rewards, HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations.
    • Policy formulation.
    • Employment-related laws and regulations.
    • Healthcare operations.
    • Report writing.
    • Organisation Acumen.
    • Negotiation skills.
