    General Maintenance Manager - Wilderness

     

    A beautiful lodge in Wilderness, Western Cape is looking for a General Maintenance Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone to oversee and fix all maintenance of their property and cabins. 

    Requirements:

    • Plumbing skills
    • Knowledge of electrical systems
    • Strong and physically capable
    • Strong communication skills (must speak English)

    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing the other maintenance staff members, knowing what their roles are and giving direction
    • Maintaining the plumbing, electrics, generator and other systems in and around the property   
    • Making sure the lodge functions correctly as a whole
    • Communicating any issues with municipality
    • Being on site at night to attend to guests, after the evening staff leave
    • Having the work phone at night and on the weekends, when the day manager is off
    • Communicating and dealing with guests
