External Sales Representative at Measured Ability Group of Companies

Our client in the Steel Industry, is looking for an experienced External Sales Representative with prominent sales experience within the steel industry, to join their team in Pietermaritzburg.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Relevant Sales qualification.
• Proficiency with SAGE system.
• 3-5 Years' minimum experience.

Key Competencies:

• Call on customers or potential customers within the Area serviced by the company.
• Determine suitable products required by customer and suggest alternative and/or additional items related to the customer’s order, as well as providing pricing for all goods supplied.
• Prominent sales experience within the Steel Industry.
• Promote the business and reputation of the company and maintain and project a positive image of the company in the market.
• Maintain a professional code of conduct and ethics as far as confidentiality and secrecy is concerned with regards to the day to day running and policy decisions of the branch and company.
• Ensure that proper documentation is processed for sales orders in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure that the company’s Credit and COD policy is followed with regards to any sales made, and not deviate from such policy, except with the expressed authority of senior management.
• Might be expected to receive cash and cheque payments that will be handled with honesty and in accordance with company policy.
• Obey and comply with all lawful and reasonable instructions given by management.
