English Teacher Grade 6 at ADvTECH

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Intersen Phase English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Cambridge English curriculum to students in Grade 6, helping them develop their language skills and comprehension abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons in line with the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Assess student progress through various means. 
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their English skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding student progress and behaviour. 
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school activities as required

Qualifications:

• Degree in Education or relevant field
• Teaching certificate or qualification
• Experience teaching English to Intersen Phase students 
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
• Passion for teaching and commitment to the holistic development of students
