    Employee Relations Officer-Intern

    ROLE PURPOSE 

    • To ensure all employment and employee relations procedures and administration requirements are accurately and efficiently implemented. 
    • To provide Employee Relations Support and information to line management and employees. 
    • To Ensure effective compliance to all employment and employee relations policies and procedures.  
    • To provide an advisory role to management and employees across the organisation in consultation with the Senior HRBP

    Requirements

    EDUCATION 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Diploma/Degree in Labour Relations Management/Human Resources Management/Labour Law 

    DESIRED/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 

    • Must have a valid driver’s licence. 

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •  At least 2 years’ HR experience with a strong focus on Employee Relations 
    • Understanding of the Employee Relations Process up to CCMA level inclusive of Inlimine, Con/Arb, Conciliation and Arbitration proceedings.
    • Sound knowledge of the BCEA 75 of 1997, EEA 55 of 1998, LRA 66 of 1995

    • Good communication skills 
    • Good administration skills 
    • Report writing 
    • Presentation ability 
    • Sound proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
    • Ability to work under pressure 
    • Conflict Management 
    • Sound judgement and decision making 
    • Deliver reliable information on time
