Key Performance Areas

• Designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization’s environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations.
• May conduct studies, audits and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations.
• Ensures accidents are investigated
• Promotes safety-conscious work performance and training programs.
• Provides safety performance measures.
• Determines root cause analyses.
• EHS Site audits
• Updating of EHS Policies and procedures
• Updating of Task based risk assessments
• Updating monthly / daily EHS Stats on our 360 database
• Rolling out of the Nonconformance database on share point
• Toolbox inspections
• Confirming of appointments for Supervisors, forklift drivers, first aiders, safety reps and zone marshals

Profile Required

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Diploma in EHS.
• Knowledge on ISO 9001, 14001 AND 45001 standards
• Computer literacy
• English proficiency
