    Director Global Marketing Procurement: Eurasia + Africa Operating Units

    We are changing the face of marketing procurement. The Coca-Cola marketing organisation is the best in the world and we are looking for a leader to evolve the next chapter in how we support our EURASIA + AFRICA marketing organisations. 

    This role will be the ‘master of ceremonies’ and key point of contact and central co-ordination for all EURASIA + AFRICA OU’S activities related to agency and DME spend activities for TCCC It has a wide span of influence and requires the development of multi layered relationships across many functions within the OU and global. 

    The bullseye of the role is to ensure we are partnering closely with the business to identify best ‘fit for purpose’ agency partners to support the business strategy and maximizing the network and strategic partner roster. It will be supported by a team of in-market talents to ensure excellent knowledge, relationships, negotiations, contract management and ability to drive incremental value and extended ROI from all deals. 

    This newly created role is a key role in the new marketing procurement organisation. The role reports to the Global Director Global Marketing Procurement: Operations and is responsible for the stewardship of all EURASIA + AFRICA OU’S marketing spend. The candidate will be the go-to person for all things EURASIA + AFRICA OU’S. 

    This role is focused on delivery! It ensures that all the needs of the operating units’ business are well serviced and that we have resource focused on the work that matters most with full visibility of marketing spend and agency management. It is a very hands-on role that requires very close partnership with the business and collaboration with the global capability teams. There will be a team of subject matter experts on ground, who will report into their respective global capability leader, who will support all OU needs. This role has a significant influence in how global capability strategies are developed and needs to be a voice of the business.  

     Organisational Impact: 

    • Whilst this role does not have hard line direct reports the candidate will have influence in development and performance of c. 13 global talents with strong subject matter expertise & procurement capabilities and needs to be able to influence day to day work management 

    • Remit is EURASIA + AFRICA OU’S, responsible for delivery of OU strategies, business plans, process, policies & results 

    • They will be the key point of contact for EURASIA + AFRICA OU’S leadership 

    • They will represent the function of marketing procurement internally and externally to support a progressive, modern and dynamic approach to business.

    Skills & Experience 

    • Market management & negotiation expertise and strong knowledge of the market places and key partners 

    • Significant ability to manage complex and multi stakeholder relationships 

    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and applications to diverse categories to deliver value for the business. Includes the ability to use financial models, industry knowledge, and the client's business requirements to develop and implement optimized business solutions.  

    • Ability to work as part of a virtual global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices  

    • Knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies to ensure that formal supplier agreements activate the elements of the sourcing strategy and support performance standards.  

    • Ability to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.  

    • Able to build and guide thought leadership and ensure effective procurement strategies. Includes the ability to recognize value creation opportunities  

    • Knowledge of sources for competitive analysis including supplier and industry data to build competitive intelligence, inform business planning and optimize decision-making. Includes the ability to create and analyze industry cost models order to assess suppliers' competitive capabilities.
