    Depot Manager - Hammanskraal

    Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain brand awareness into minds and hearts:
    • Visibility

    • Asset management and Housekeeping:
    • Efficient crate control
    • Vehicle abuse
    • Maintain truck image
    • Develop the supply chain:
    • Deliver at the right cost
    • Plan execution of orders
    • Customer Relationship Management
    • Maximize customer service levels
    • Get the right products to customers on time, in full every day
    • Stock management
    • Reports and Administration
    • Security Control
    • Process Management
    • Staff Management and Development
    • Labour management/ Industrial Relations
    • Increased sales volumes
    • Increased Customer satisfaction
    • To develop and propose site volume targets and plans to the site and regional manager in line with the national plans and targets.
    • To implement, monitor, report, and review sales delivery against agreed targets (volume and margin)
    • To implement, monitor and report on the roll out of corporate initiatives such as route viability, DRM, Pricing etc. through relevant cross functional Invocom and reports
    • To manage the performance of direct reports through preparation and facilitation of weekly site sales team Invocom.
    • To support compliance to internal process, practice and SOPs via monthly and quarterly auditing, collation, and presentation of sales pack info to the relevant managers.
    • To schedule and coordinate the on-site sales pack audit and present findings to the regional sales manager and relevant bakery/depot managers in order to agree corrective action and continuous improvement
    • To manage and motivate high performance teams through the decisive management of non- performance and quick recognition of good performance in line with company process and procedures and provide training, coaching and mentoring as needed
    • To manage third party suppliers or outsourced service providers to ensure good execution and customer services to our customers.

    Qualification Requirements

    Qualifications: 

    • Matric
    • Relevant Diploma / Degree in Business

    Experience Requirements

    Experience: 

    • Computer literacy – Excel, MS Word
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role

    Key Outputs

    Other Requirements:

    • Required to work a 6-day week
    • Will be expected to work weekends, public holidays and after hours as and when required
    • Required to be on standby for 24/7
