    Chief Marketing Officer

    Qualifications

    • Related qualifications and certifications equivalent to a Bachelor's degree are preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in an executive marketing role, in any industry
    • Demonstrated business acumen and results/detail orientation supported by strong analytical ability.
    • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and e-commerce
    • Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
    • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix 
    • Experience in the running and implementation of major business initiatives.  
    • Demonstrated ability to drive and maintain 3rd party / key supplier/stakeholder relationships.
    • The role will entail some domestic and international travel.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and enhances the market position of each brand.
    • Digital Marketing: Lead the digital marketing initiatives, leveraging “fit for purpose”  technologies and data-driven insights to maximize online presence, customer engagement, and sales.
    • Omni-Channel Marketing: Integrate and optimize marketing efforts across various channels, ensuring a seamless and cohesive customer experience.
    • Brand Management: Strengthen brand identity and consistency across all platforms, while tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each retail brand.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-informed adjustments as needed.
    • Customer Insights: Utilize customer insights to improve and personalize customer interactions across all touchpoints and develop targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific customer segments.
    • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Creating and executing plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
    • Market trends: analyze retail marketing trends, market trends and competitor activity to direct marketing strategy.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with brand managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and synergy in marketing efforts.
