• Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service
• Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
• Issuing complete and accurate Receipts
• Balancing the till at the end of the shift
• Maintenance of equipment in the store/office
• Answer the phone, welcome callers courteously and identify yourself and your organization immediately.
• Transferring / redirecting calls to the correct department
• Taking accurate messages and conveying this articulately
• Resolve customer complaints and queries, guide them and provide relevant information
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the store/office

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant product system/knowledge
• Basic computer skills
