Bookkeeper at Motus Holdings Limited

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Monthly accounting and processing up to trail balance
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Monthly journal entries
• VAT reconciliations and return
• Suppliers liaison, rebate tracking, reconciliations
• Preparation / checking of payment batches
• Inventory update on systems and reconciliations
• Monthly margin reconciliation and reporting (cost accounting)
• Funding, BEE, Sustainability reporting
• Assistance with or provision of various reporting to the business and Group
• Preparation of year end schedules to support the audit
• Various other accounting and administrative duties as required by the role from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting
• Required minimum 2 years’ experience
• Detailed exposure to at least one computer accounting system (beneficial is Xero)
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets, basic Word or Google Docs
• Good communication skills in English - spoken and written
• Additional languages beneficial

• R180 000 to R200 000 Cost to Company per year (Provident Fund Included)
