Job Description :
The Diageo business is one of the few examples of a TBA business across the world, with significant presence in Beer (2m EUs), Spirits (4m EUs) and RTDs (1m EUs) and a portfolio of 60 SKUs.
The Asset Care manager is carries overall responsibility for engineering standards related to all plant and equipment as well as the related safety and legislative compliance requirements. The responsibility for plant equipment extends to developing and implementing the appropriate maintenance strategies aligned to world class manufacturing practises to ensure asset uptime is maximised and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets are achieved. In addition, the asset care manager champions Diageo ‘s ambitious sustainability agenda to deliver improvements in waste, energy, water and greenhouse gas emissions. Capital expenditure management and execution of the engineering projects also forms part of the remit of the asset care manager.
The plant comprises of a blending operation and 5 packaging/bottling lines as well as related utilities (steam, water treatment, electricity). There are five direct reports and approximately a further 20 other team members comprising of artisans/technicians, stores personal and apprentices.
