JOB DESCRIPTION

• This role’s primary purpose is to inform and enable strategy, based on evaluation of the end-to-end value chain. This is achieved through both quantitative and qualitative insights, recommendations, and policy formulation. Additionally, the role is responsible for driving the strategic & technological maturity of the UFSO through research & development of new analytics technologies & techniques, as well as dissemination of these discoveries and inventions to the broader team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Type of qualification: Honours Degree in Mathematical Sciences or Physical Sciences

Experience Required

• 8 - 10 years proven track record of delivery in a senior product, financial and risk management capacity in a leading financial institution.
• Proven track record of interpreting and practicing integrated product, financial and risk management principles.
• Experience in process re-engineering and change management. Experience in management of financial objectives, both value creation and cost reduction, managing ROE targets considering profitability measures and capital.
