Analyst, Reporting, Credit Finance at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To embed the credit finance function within CIB Finance to collect, process, calculate and report on expected credit losses (ECL) and related disclosures, in a complete, timely and accurate manner and in line with applicable financial internal and external standards, rules, regulations and policies, in order to ensure enable business decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• First Degree: Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance or Credit Risk

Preferred qualification:

• Honour’s degree Accounting, Finance or related / relevant field of study with CA SA / CFA / CIMA preferred. 

Experience:
Finance

• 3-5 years - Accounting experience in the application of GAAP and IFRS standards within financial services is required, with exposure to credit risk preferred.

Treasury

• 1-2 years - Treasury Capital Management experience required, preferably in investment banking.
