    Administrator: Warehouse (Polokwane)

    Purpose:

    To provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fleet Management and dispatch support.
    • Fleet Management and dispatch support.
    • Liaising with freight forwarders.
    • Liaising with freight forwarders.
    • Communicate within the warehouse to plan deliveries.

    • Provide shipping information to customers as required.

    • Completing invoices for services provided.

    • Picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently and on time.
    • Receive, store and issue goods against requisitions.
    • Daily Stock counts & Reporting of Stock Discrepancies to Superior.
    • Ensure that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts.
    • Count stock and report variances between actual and expected stock levels.
    • Ensure the picking zones are up to date.
    • Keep an organised area for any relevant empty boxes that are housed for display stock.
    • Check goods received against orders placed on suppliers.
    • Ensure the right quantity and quality is received at the ordered cost.
    • Receive IBT stock and credit to the main warehouse.

    Requirements

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Matric
    • Qualification in business administration would be advantageous
    • 1 years’ administration experience in a similar role at a similar level

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Good knowledge of general administrative and internal processes
    • Good understanding of organisational processes and practices
    • Strong administration skills
    • Superior telephone etiquette
    • Solid communication skills
    • Good people handling skills
    • Networking skills
    • Organising skills
    • Time management skills
    • Strong computer literacy especially in MS applications
