Administrative Officer: Wineland/Central Karoo at Western Cape Government

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year administrative experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Recommendation    

• Experience in the following: Project Management processes; Freight and Logistics.

Key Performance Areas    

• Provide high level support in the planning, coordination and implementation of land transport services; Active participation in the Land Transport Projects, including freight and logistics projects; Provide high level administrative support services, including financial, human resource administration and document management; Collect, analyse and collate information and data; Respond to general enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, find resolutions or refer to correct official; Assist in conducting desktop research on matters relating to land transport.

Competencies    

• Knowledge of the following: Public Administration; Supply Chain Management; Applicable legislative and regulatory requirements in the development land transport projects; Information Management systems; Written and verbal communication skills.
