      Operational Excellence and Quality Management Specialist (JG P7)

      Key performance areas:     

      • To establish the Operational Excellence and Quality Management Business Unit as a pro-active, value-adding source of expertise, assistance and consulting advice.
      • To continuously assess CIPC’s operational performance, to recommend measures to achieve and maintain operational excellence;
      • To support and monitor the development, implementation and improvement of service delivery standards and other continuous improvement strategies;
      •  To provide advice and guidance on operational, excellence quality management and related matters;
      • To review of the effectiveness the service delivery standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
      • To develop operational plans and operating policies procedures for the Business Unit.
      •  To perform all management and reporting requirements, identify and escalate performance constraints and any risks

      Required Minimum education/training

      • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant bachelor’s degree

        Required Minimum work experience:

      • 1-3 years’ experience in operational excellence and quality management in the private or public sector

      Strategy and Planning Specialist (JG P7)

      Key performance areas:

      • To co-ordinate and support the corporate strategy formulation and review and business planning activities of the CIPC.
      •  To monitor the implementation, report on and support the assessment of corporate strategies and business plans in the CIPC.
      • To support groups and divisions with their planning processes and to respond to any internal enquiries in this regard.
      • To make input into business plans and operating policies and procedures for the business unit.
      • To perform all administrative and reporting requirements and identify and escalate performance constraints and any risks.

      Requirements

      Required Minimum education/ training

      • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
      • A post graduate qualification: and relevant coursework in strategy will be an added advantage

      Required Minimum work experience:

      • 1-3 years’ experience in strategy formulation and implementation or related fields, such as policy co-ordination or formulation or monitoring and evaluation in the Private or Public Sector;

      ICT Service Manager (JG P7)

      Required Minimum education/training

      • 3 year ICT National Diploma or degree (NQF 6 or higher)
      • ITIL training/certification
      • MSCE, A+, N+

      Required Minimum work experience

      • More than 3 years’ experience as ICT desktop support/ services manager
      • Experience in other ICT services and infrastructure management areas
      • Exposure to frameworks such as ITIL, ITSM or COBIT
      • Experience in industries similar to CIPC
      • Experience with business service management solutions
      • Manage desktop support services
      • Manage desktop support services staff, technology, projects and changes
      • Manage the provision of desktop support services i.t.o agreed service levels.

      Key performance areas:

      • Ensure ICT governance over the desktop environment.
      • Provide reports and escalations to Senior Manager
      • Act as a link between ICT and business
      • Proactive Monitoring and Management of Service levels with the Business.

      Support and Backup Administrator JG P9

      Required Minimum education/training

      •  Matric/Senior Certificate
      • Diploma in IT
      • Backup Certification

      Required Minimum work experience:

      • 1 year experience as ICT support
      • 3 years backup experience on premise
      • 2 years’ experience in cloud backups

      Key performance areas:     

      • To respond to user-initiated enquiries ensuring a timely resolution/fulfilment to user requests, incidents, questions and complaints in relation to backup and support
      • Ensure that there is backups available for restores in an event of failure.
      • Proactive Monitoring and Management of Service levels within the backup environment.
      • To report on performance and to identify and escalate performance constraints;
      • Manage on premise and cloud backup environment.
      • Ensure backups and restores are done as per schedules.
      • Ensure all exceptions are managed and reported on a daily basis
      • To manage relationships with key stakeholders and ICT partners.
