Accounting Reporting Manager at Ernst & Young Global Limited (EY)

As a Manager you will be required make technical contributions to engagements and internal projects, establish, maintain  and strengthen internal and external relationships. Be the engagement lead by reviewing Financial Statements & deferred  tax calculations and accounting transactions. As a manager you are required to support junior staff members with client delivery issues, provide tax insights through tax performance enhancement and technical support. Contribute to the success of the business by focusing on utilisation, planning, achievement of key metrics. Be the support to the partners and senior managers by assisting with market initiatives such as preparing proposals and quotations.  As the technical expert, anticipate and identify risks and be the primary reviewer to ensure work is properly executed,  documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA (SA)
• 3 years minimum practical accounting and/or tax experience
• Proven experience in delivering accounting/tax services to clients 
• Commercial, legislative and industry knowledge
• Ability to apply our global compliance process and tools
• Ability to apply Q&RM procedures 
• Relevant public accounting or industry experience 
• Strong Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience and exposure to ERP systems
• Strong leadership qualities
• Project Management skills
• Ability to manage and lead others
