Job Advert Summary    

• An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant CA(SA) to assist with the implementation of the FC Framework and handle all Accounting responsibilities such as accounting and financial policies, internal and external audit activities. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities as outlined below.

Minimum Requirements    

• BCom Degree in Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Strong internal control experience.
• Internal audit background can be an advantage.
• 5 – 10 years experience.
• Experience in the logistic field.
• Experience with Sage x3 and operational systems such as Shipshape
• General ledger analysis & journals.
• Paycard & cash management
• Foreign currency experience
• Internal compliance- Financial systems, policies & procedures.
• Check and approve all suppiers account reconciliations prepared by the AP team
• Must have three years experience in clearing and forwarding environment
• Good understanding and experience with shipping lines
• SARS/Customs disbursement accounts
• Must be strong on IT, systems, technology.
• Good presentation skills.
• People management 
• Self-starter, deadline driven and reliable
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Can work under pressure
• Accurate and meticulous
• Ability to problem solve  
• Must be willing to travel.
