Key Purpose of the Senior SAP Functional Consultant (SAP K4/K5)

Participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP applications. Customising applications from the integrated solution architecture and design, business requirements documents from functional Specifications or run the proposed Bank Incident to meet defined Business needs

• Business analysis and process redesign of SAP functions and processes
• Configure SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design
• Prepare business specifications for:
  • Component Level design
  • Technical Systems Specifications / Configuration Rationale Documentation
  • Data Design
  • Component Test Cases
  • Unit Test Case Design
  • Configure of the component design
• Fully testing the component design / configure – before and after the application development
• Advise configuration staff on the evaluation and impact analysis of major design options
• Advise, maintain and implement the business system development standards, methods and procedures
• Assist in the assessment and selection of suitable software packages to meet all or parts of specified requirements
• Take a leading technical Role in development projects.

• NQF Level 5: Certified in at least one of the following: 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree in Information Technology
• Banking Services and CRM Certification and ASAP Methodology an advantage or
• 5 – 8 years’ experience in developing and supporting a Core Banking System
• Understanding of the ITIL process. (Certification an advantage)
• Understanding of the ASAP Methodology
