Job description
The MiX Learning Centre (MLC) at MiX Telematics is an online learning portal geared to provide customers, channel partners and staff with technology enhanced learning solutions in a widely diverse, challenging and demanding environment.
We are seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator: an enthusiastic individual with a passion for technology enhanced learning to contribute to the administration and support of our global network of users. The position is best suited to candidates that wish to immerse themselves in a rapidly developing field, is willing to learn through mentorship and independent research and to deliver a consistently high quality learning environment.
A suitable candidate will be expected to perform on the following basis:
Turnkey End-User Support
Effectively problem solve and troubleshoot support queries submitted by email, online support portal or telephonically and maintain a knowledgebase of useful and supporting documentation for students and regional administrators.
Monitor and evaluate user feedback and communicate user needs and requirements to course designers, facilitators and developers for improvement and revision.
Support the global network of administrators in the management of user accounts, course creation and publication on the LMS, and ensure consistency between course layouts.
User & System Administration
Ensure that completion reports and grades are accurate, take the appropriate remedial action as and when required and produce reports and summaries for course utilization, completion and user feedback.
Effectively manage user accounts, courses and reporting structures, including: manual user creation, password resets, profile maintenance, and streamlining of user self-registration and enrolment procedures.
Provide ad-hoc supporting services to team leaders, course creators and developers to ensure successful roll-out of technology enhanced learning interventions hosted on the LMS.
