    Position Description

    Santam Agriculture, Menlyn Pretoria has a position available for an Administrative Assistant who will provide full support to Business Unit Head and Manager Business Development – Crop Insurance.

    Key Responsibilities

    General secretarial duties:

    • Diary management
    • Travel & accommodation arrangements
    • Personnel administration
    • Leave administration
    • Appointment documentation filing etc
    • Broker administration:
    • Appointment documentation
    • General communication documentation
    • Orders, accounts & payments

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric/grade 12 certificate
    • Secretarial diploma/office management diploma
    • 3-4 years Secretarial/PA experience
    • Experience working as a PA in Short-term environment
    • Must be proficient in compiling agendas, reports and minute taking
    • Advanced computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point & Internet)

    • Telephone Etiquette
    • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally and in writing
    • Must be able to plan & prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work under pressure
