Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking talented engineers to join the EC2 Release Reliability team to build the systems that allow teams to continuously deliver software at Amazon scale. Amazon EC2 provides on-demand scalable compute capacity, and powers some of the largest web services in the world.

The successful candidate will have strong software engineering experience, with a strong belief that code can be shipped quickly and safely. You will have demonstrated skills building large-scale distributed systems, experience working with continuous delivery tooling, a solid understanding of the fundamentals, and the judgement to use the right tool for the job.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years’ professional software development experience
• Experience with Java, C# or other object-oriented language, and with scripting languages like Ruby or Python
• Experience with modern Javascript development
• Experience working in a Linux-based environment
• Experience working with CI/CD tooling
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong customer focus, written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ professional software development experience, with demonstrated results designing and implementing large-scale data systems.
• Technical leadership experience, and demonstrated results in improving CI/CD tooling and practices
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services or other cloud provider
