    Miner Production Surface

    Job Description

     POSITION SYNOPSIS:

     To supervise a team of people and ensure safe and cost effective Blasting at an operational team level.

     REQUIREMENTS:

    •  Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science, a blasting certificate and a minimum of 2 years working experience in mining and Strata 2;
    •  Experience as a Miner will be essential.

    CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    •  Safely execute blast;
    •  Compiling blasting reports;
    •  Ensure blasts are communicated mine wide and check if external stakeholders were engaged prior blasting.
