PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Process analysis, design, implementation and execution across the DC and Distribution Hub to ensure end-to-end efficiency. Provide operational support by analyzing and interpreting data and initiating proactive corrective action to ensure Supply Chain performance adheres to set KPIs. Be a single point of interaction with the Supply Chain Systems team to ensure that the Warehouse Management System (WMS) meets business requirements and is supporting the business optimally.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business cases are developed for improvement in business units; DC and primary hubs
• Implementation and monitoring of improvement projects
• Drive and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives in the DC
• Addresses problems with WMS and liaises with Systems team for WMS enhancements and to support business processes
• Identify training needs for system changes

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Industrial Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in a supply chain role
• Warehouse operations and systems experience
• Retail knowledge and experience will be an advantage
• Advanced Computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• WMS exposure will be an advantage
• Project management experience
• Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology will be an advantage
• Change management principles
