    Quality Assurer (Training)

    Job description

    Key purpose

    The vacancy is for a quality assurance role within the Discovery Institute of Training. The assurer must ensure that all training material developed meet the established standards.

    Key outputs

    All work must be done accurately, comprehensively and to an acceptable quality.

    • conduct quality assurance of all training material developed to ensure finished product quality
    • ensure that material developed is line with learning and development principles and requirements set by the area
    • document quality assurance findings
    • prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality findings to the line manager and material developer
    • investigate quality related complaints and non-conformance issues
    • collect and compile statistical quality data
    • analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
    • develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
    • identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
    • draft quality assurance policies and procedures
    • interpret and implement quality assurance standards
    • evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

    Experience

    Working experience of at least 3 years in a similar role is required.

    The following qualifications and experience is required:

    Experience

    • Degree or other qualification in communication or English language is Advantageous
    • Working experience of at least 3 years in a similar role is Essential 
    • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) on an advanced level is Essential
    • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA is Essential
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office is Essential
    • Learning/training environment experience is Essential
    • Language practitioner experience Advantageous
