Job description

We are a New York based Mobile education software company with +- 15 developers in our Cape Town office and we currently have two open QA positions. They are: Senior QA engineer and QA Team Lead.

The position will involve assisting our highly qualified team of QA analysts test our massively scalable Education application in the cloud, where milliseconds count and highly optimized code is what it’s all about.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of in-depth QA Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong SQL experience.
• SoapUI/QTP, Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo, TestRail, JMeter/LoadRunner.
• Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, Perforce/SVN/TFS.
• Analyzes and reports overall test status and results
• Identifies test issues on multiple or complex projects
• Define, manage and execute regression tests for projects
• Coordinates production verification and validation
• Perform risk analysis at project management or release level
• Advanced software testing background through extended quality assurance experience
• Extremely detailed oriented
• Solid track references
