    Project Financial Controller

    Job description

    Analyzes and challenge customer projects financial performance (Revenue, margin and cash) on monthly and forecast basis.

    Project team member, supports the Project Manager in risk analysis and drives action plans.

    Tasks And Responsibilities
    • Quotes reviews to be done in accordance to Solutions controlling & guidelines.
    • To review & assist with Risk Schedule for each project, outlining all possible risks to be compiled at tender stage to quantify risk profile of each project.
    • To ensure Profitability aligned with guidelines and expectations to protect local shareholding.
    • To analyse cost & profitability ensure correct level of profitability.
    • To analyse Cash flows for each project ensuring realistic and proper payment terms for a positive cash flow.
    • Understanding manufacturing/project stages to ensure appropriate "Cash in" positions.
    • Scrutinising "Cash Out"/Cost positions to optimise cash out flows.
    • To Ensure accurate data capture, project performance measurement & forecasting.
    • To Track performance & follow up on variations and deviations on projects with key stakeholders.
    • To prepare and update, on a regular basis, project cash flow curve to understand the gap between estimated and actual cash flows.
    • To manage monthly project reviews for better insight into projects.
    • To assists stakeholders in presentations & reports to internal & external customers.
    • To Regularly update Risk Schedule on projects for better understanding of risk profiles on projects.
    • To measure Cost Efficiency through Cost Center management, analysis and keeping the business informed.
    • To conduct regular Work in Progress Verification and oversee stock take activities.
    • To reconcile and analyse general ledger accounts.
    Education And Experience Required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education
    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as project controller
    • Preferably within a financial project and manufacturing control environment.
    • Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach
    • Must be have advanced MS Office (Excel) skills and solid understanding of SAP.
    • Effective and accurate handling of large volumes of data is essential to the roll.
    • Effective communication skills both verbally and writing.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.
    General Requirements

    Provide financial support to the allocated Business being Energy and also Solutions and Services.
    • Ensure timeous and accurate financial accounting information.
    • Plan and coordinate all accounting procedures and staff around the given monthly/year end closing deadlines set by the Business.
    • Ensure that Group policies, procedures and principles are adhered to at all times and that all reporting is in accordance with IFRS.
    • Ensure that all statutory and group obligations are adhered to as well as adherence to the Company Limits of Authority.
    • Ensure proper monitoring and measurement of WIP & margins (Actual vs. Budget) over the lifespan of all projects and contracts.
    • Ensure that adequate financial controls are in place to prevent any risk.
    • Coordinate and prepare all forecasting and budgeting with the leadership of the Business Units.
    • Ensure accurate calculation of Revenue Recognition of projects.
    • Validate STIP templates for Bonus payouts.
    Assist with other Business Units when circumstances requires.

    FS Sales Business development

    Job description

    Essential Responsibilities
    • Develops account profiles and executes the sales plan.
    • Applies market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific target audiences.
    • Identifies and contacts potential customers or prospects, either existing or new.
    • Secures customer satisfaction overseeing all ongoing activities with the customer (orders, delivery.)
    • Utilizes BFO (Salesforce.com) for sales funnel management and for Account Planning.
    • Provides monthly forecasts and summaries in a timely manner.
    • Participates in the preparation of analysis and reports on field service performance.
    • Prepares sales quotations and proposals with the help of quotation team in respect of FS expected margin.
    • Works closely with Inside Service Sales Representatives and the BU account manager to maximize
    • business opportunities.
    • Is “feeding” the Field Services Marketing leaders with Offers feedback and needs
    • Educates customers on all SE products and services with special attention on Recurring and digital Offers
    • Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to other sales employees
    • Coordinates and/or attends trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as needed
    Education / Skills
    • The successful candidate should have a (4) year college degree or equivalent work experience and (3-10) years technical sales experience.
    • Inside sales or CCC experience is a plus
    • Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer. The concept of Customer Intimacy is critical in Field Services.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including C-level customers
    • Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle of
    • the product.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools. Excellent organizational skills.
