    Business Manager Paxi

    Description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

    To effectively manage and increase the PAXI customer base and products and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure sustained product and portfolio growth. As a Business Manager you will also need to ensure that projects within your portfolio are successfully implemented within scope, time and cost parameters

    Requirements

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To ensure that financial budgets are met for the Financial year 
    • Develop business proposals to onboard new business partners  
    • Engage with Risk and Compliance to ensure that all processes and products are compliant
    •  Negotiate deals and manage relationships with suppliers and partners 
    • Engage with PEPKOR legal with regard to new and existing contracts 
    • Collaborate with the Marketing department to build dynamic campaigns 
    • Ongoing project management of allocated portfolio within agreed timelines and through engagement with stakeholders 
    • Ensure that regular meetings are held and relationships are managed with all internal and external stakeholders 
    • Ensure all administrative work are completed within expected timelines 
    • New Merchant contracts are negotiated and confirmed on an ongoing basis with suppliers and partners 
    • Continuous improvement/ growth on portfolio

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. B.com degree) 
    • 3-5 years of related work experience (Retail, Fintech or Courier services will be an advantage) 
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Project management will be an advantage 
    • Product management (financials/ business cases, project analysis) 
    • Computer literacy (MS Office or G-suite) specifically Excel or Google sheets 
    • Numerical aptitude 
    • Willingness to travel 
    • Valid driver's license

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acquire, combine and transform data from various sources into interpretable datasets.
    • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical/analytical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
    • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
    • Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards
    • Test and validate solutions in accordance with specification and user requirements
    • Visualise data using appropriate tools. 
    • System Improvement delivery 
    • Training /Knowledge acquisition and transfer

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Bsc/Bcom in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
    • 3-5 years experience within a similar role
    • Knowledge and experience with relevant software packages will be advantageous (Tableau, GCP, Data Studio, Business Objects, SQL)
    • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Experience in data warehousing
    • Presentation skills
    • Good communication skills and a team player that can cope in a dynamic environment

    Executive Secretary

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To coordinate the Marketing department’s office activities and provide assistance to the Chief Executive: Marketing and Marketing Department.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Manage inbox of CE: Marketing
    • Management of senior leader’s calendars 
    • General office management
    • Maintain annual audit filing by calling for updated BBBEE certificates, keeping record of new and expired supplier service level agreements (contracts) 
    • Maintain record of all IT and office equipment
    • Coordinating meeting schedules
    • Office reception and screening of calls
    • Administration of monthly reports
    • Planning and organizing functions and meetings
    • Making travel and accommodation arrangements
    • Processing of payments of invoices for the marketing department (excl. advertising accounts) on SAP
    • Responding to written communication
    • Ad hoc tasks

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • Secretarial / Office coordinator Diploma
    • 5 years experience as secretary to senior management / executive. 
    • Retail experience will be an advantage
    • Experience with travel arrangements both domestic and international. 
    • PC literacy (MS Office / Google Suite)
    • Knowledge and understanding of event coordination
    • Interest in internet research
    • Strong service orientation
    • Competencies: Devotion to quality, Planning, Flexibility, Initiative, Performing under pressure
