We are looking for someone who can:

• Control the flow of merchandise in and out of the store / stockroom
• Receive, unpack, check and store the merchandise according to company standards
• Report damaged/missing/soiled goods by completing and submitting the appropriate / prescribed documentation
• Balance physical stock counts and stock takes with stockroom records
• Transfer stock to either Head Office or other stores using appropriate documentation
• Control stock levels in the stockroom according to set capacities

• The position requires previous experience at management level and a definite flair for merchandise presentation.

The person we are looking for should have:

• Must have Matric (grade 12)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for fashion and an interest in retail
• A keen eye for detail
• Honesty in dealing with cash variances
• A strong focus on driving turnover
• An ability to control security standards and stock losses
• A passion for training & motivating staff
• Ability to manage merchandise
