    Control Room Operator - Postmasburg

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Control and monitor all process equipment through information received from the Scada System
    • Act promptly on process defects as indicated by the Scada System
    • Identify and report any potentially unsafe conditions
    • Coordinating Process Operators and Attendants on the shift to act promptly on process defects
    • Report abnormal and unusual conditions immediately
    • Monitor and record process parameters such as flows, pressures, levels, and temperatures to ensure effective operation.
    • Interact and communicate with all Process and Engineering staff
    • On instruction call-out appropriate Maintenance staff
    • Complete production log-sheets
    • Perform general housekeeping duties
    • SHEQ awareness and management
    • KPI control and management for relevant levels

    Qualification Requirements

    • Grade 12 with Maths and Science
    • National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 / equivalent Minerals Processing qualification

    Experience and Skills Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process Operator
    • DMS Plant experience
    • English language proficiency
    • Computer literacy
    • Competent with Scada system
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise
    • Excellent communication and time management skills

    General Engineering Superintendent (GES) - Aggeneys

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Set Engineering targets according to Production and Engineering requirements
    • Integrate and co-ordinate Engineering and technical maintenance plans
    • Deploy Engineering teams to ensure repair and maintenance to maximize Engineering running hours
    • Investigate, diagnose problems and breakdowns to determine resource requirements and order spares according to Company procedures
    • Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and analyse breakdowns
    • Supervise subordinates in their daily activities to ensure maintenance according to organisational standards and the maintenance requirements
    • Continuously analyse equipment efficiencies and recommend or implement improvements and changes to maximise running hours
    • Communicate equipment information and changes to internal stakeholders to minimise production delays
    • Determine work schedules in conjunction with other Engineering / Process teams to ensure availability and optimise utilization of equipment to the relevant section and consult with production teams on maintenance activities that affect production
    • Ensure availability during standby duties according to schedule

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and Section 13 or section 26D trade certificate
    • N6 National Diploma in Engineering

    Experience & Skills Requirements:

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience as an Engineering Supervisor
    • Relevant Planned Maintenance system training
    • English language proficiency
    • Time management skills
    • Employee Relations training
    • Supervisory management training
    • Finance for non-financial managers training
    • Computer literate in MS Office
    • Valid driver’s licence code B, EB or C1
    • Own transport to attend to call outs

    Stores Controller - Aggeneys

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Inventory Control:

    • Supervise the stores processes to ensure maximum accuracy and accountability according to organisational standards
    • Arrange and conduct regular cycle counts according to Company policy and sound stock control procedures
    • Planning, scheduling and preparation for annual stock counts
    • Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform / recommend appropriate action
    • Investigate and resolve inventory related queries (goods / quality discrepancies, warranties and guarantees) to ensure availability of stock
    • Maintain the binning and labelling of stock items to ensure efficient stock control and identification
    • Ensure correct allocation, storage and stacking of stock items according to product requirements and sound storing practises e.g. storage of hazardous materials and the display of Materials Safety Data Sheet
    • Attend to queries on goods received and resolve discrepancies according to Supply Chain procedures
    • Monitor re-order points on a daily basis and raise requisitions to ensure continuous availability of stock
    • Print various reports in relation to stock control processes e.g. exception reports, stock reports, availability reports
    • Analyse, comment and make recommendations when necessary
    • Expedite outstanding /overdue items
    • Control month end procedures of Receiving / Issuing sections
    • Ensure stores housekeeping in accordance with group policies and standards.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Grade 12 

    Experience & Skills Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in issuing, receiving and stock control in the mining / mineral processing or related industries
    • Knowledge of Stores processes and Inventory Management
    • Computer literate in MS Office
    • Supervisory skills
