    Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary: Paediatric Ward

    Job Summary:

    The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    •  Grade 12.
    •  Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary qualification.
    •  Current registration with South African Nursing             Council (SANC).
    •  BLS qualification advantageous.
    •  Experience in Surgical Ward is essential.
    •  Experience within private hospital environment             advantageous.
    •  Computer proficiency.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
    • Implement care as instructed by the Registered Nurse and/or Enrolled nurse to meet individual patient needs.
    • Assist the Registered Nurse and administration staff in maintaining adequate stock levels including accurate recording and charging of stock used. Assist the Registered Nurse during procedure by handing medical equipment and stock required.
    • Carry out basic assessment of patient vital signs, intake and output and accurately monitor and record data relating to patient condition. Escalate any issues to the Registered Nurse or Unit Manager.

    Registered Nurse Theatre/Scrub

    Job Summary:

    • Nursing degree / diploma.
    • Post Basic Qualification in Theatre Operating Technique.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification.
    • Previous experience in a Theatre is essential.
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency advantageous.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.

    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, and safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.

    Trained Registered Nurse-AICU

    Job Summary:

    The Registered Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Nursing degree / diploma.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification and updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS.
    • Post registration experience required at least 2+ years in intensive care nursing.
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer Proficiency advantageous.

    Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

    Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant, registered in the category Pharmacists Assistant (post-basic). An added advantage would be experience in buying of ethicals and surgicals on the SAP system, knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) in SAP and proficiency in excel and word.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
    • Post Basic Pharmacist's Assistant Certificate.
    • Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a QPBPA.
    • 1 to 2 years' experience in a private hospital pharmacy or retail setting.
    • SAP system proficiency.
    • Knowledge of surgicals supplies and consumables.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Assist in the procurement of ethicals and surgicals for pharmaceutical services.
    • Assist in updating MRP parameters on SAP.
    • Understanding of a Formulary for ethicals and preferred providers for surgicals.
    • Adherence to timelines.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills.
