    Product Manager

    Role Purpose

    The Product Manager role is based within Vodacom Business.

    • To develop and manage the overall products and solution sets, product pricing, commercialise new products, product development, reporting, financial performance and product management within the product innovation department of Fixed & Mobile Products and Services. 
       

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Co-ordinate and drive all product development, product integration and go-to-market strategy for product set to ensure that the strategy achieves the objectives of profitable growth and expansion of market share for that product and service
    • To be responsible for developing and implementing the specific product and service’s sales & support documentation, costing and pricing models
    • Responsible for product definition, market needs analysis, viability and product fit
    • Responsible for all new product plans, announcements, launches and withdrawals & manage the process of commercialising all new or enhanced products working through VCS marketing
    • Development of go-to-market sales plan for the product including pre-sales and post-sales support processes, training and documentation.
    • Innovate and curate relevant services in alignment with Vodacom’s Strategy.  

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Innovation and critical  thinking skills – proven track record 
    • Good communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and good financial skills  
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form & manage relationships at all levels within both internally and externally (customers and industry).
    • Ability to drive multi-disciplinary virtual teams to deliver an optimal commercialised product.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of Vodacom and partner teams in order to define specifications, prioritise features, build consensus and coordinate the release of new features and product enhancements.
    • Facilitate communication throughout the product development process between an array of internal teams

    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

    • A 3 year Degree/Diploma in a technical and business discipline with a product development and sales focus is essential
    • A minimum of 3- 5 years proven track record in product development, product management.

    Subscriber Collections Manager

    Role purpose:

    Infinity Services Partner Company is a Managed Services Business, wholly owned by and a fully-fledged subsidiary of Vodacom .Infinity Services Partner Company is looking for a Subscriber Collections Manager. To manage day to day activities at outsourced operations.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To build and maintain optimal relationships with key stakeholders within internal environment and outsourced portfolio.
    • To manage day to day activities at outsourced operations.
    • To manage outsource contracts and ensure service delivery in line with Vodacom’s stringent standards.
    • To co-ordinate issue resolution at Outsourced Operations.
    • To establish benchmarks and support outsourced operations to achieve targets.
    • To establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement to continually improve our service offering to our customers.
    • To practice Financial prudence and structure operations to achieve efficiencies.
    • Pro-actively audit environments to ensure operational discipline.
    • To conduct outsource vendor negotiation.
    • Ensure Management and administration of budgets for Contracts.
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Relevant 3 year Degree/Diploma.
    • Minimum of 5-8 years Collections experience.
    • With a minimum of 2 years at Supervisory and or Management experience is essential.

    • At least 2 years must be of Contract Management and  2 years Call Centre Outsourcing Experience is essential.

    Senior Specialist Business Analyst

    Description

    • The Business Analyst helps to support and maximize the effectiveness of the Product Owner, supporting the creation of user stories to an adequate level of granularity, assessing options for technical and business feasibility and ensuring development is aligned to business outcomes. The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business information during release and iteration planning, as well as supporting the review and re-prioritization of the release backlog. Providing regular feedback by testing deliverables against user story acceptance criteria and validating that the product meets the business goals. Typically reports to the Chapter Lead.

    Job Responsibility

    •  Works closely with the Product Owner to clarify goals and business value outcomes;
    •  Defines and prioritizes the user stories aligned to the capability roadmap;
    •  Translates business requirements for the technical teams and discusses the technical feedback with business teams to achieve the business goal;
    •  Ensures user stories are broken down to an adequate level of detail for delivery by engineering teams;
    •  Supports everyday reporting, facilitation, and communication;
    •  Safeguards or protects the business and users needs by verifying functionality, accuracy and completeness of the new requirements /change requests against the original proposal;
    •  Supports the development and execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, verifying that stories meet acceptance criteria;
    •  Analyses and reports delivery risks and opportunities;
    •  Facilitates engagement with stakeholders for communications and decision-making;
    •  Reads and interprets documentation such as requirements definitions, installation instructions, technical articles and procedure manuals, ensuring all documents are reviewed, clarified, organized, and conform to organizational standards;
    •  Defines improvements to solutions and business processes.
