    Business Development Manager Motion Control

    Job description

    • Supports the sales organization of the assigned organizational unit in developing strategic and midterm business strategies, structures and processes, focusing options to exploit best market opportunities.
    • Performs long range strategic planning and analysis and prepares summaries, and/or performs operational activities enabling the exploitation of (vertical and product) markets.
    • Performs project coordination in assigned projects and supplies information for the development of new strategies.
    • Completes market and business research as well as competitor analysis.
    • Performs analysis of strategic business segments, evaluates opportunities for new or existing Siemens products in new markets, channels or customer target groups.
    • Evaluates potential acquisition candidates and prepares project proposals.
    • Provides analytical support for due diligence of acquisition candidates. Contributes with the development of strategic planning tools for the organization.
    • Performs strategic database design and management and coordinates the activities of related internal suppliers and external vendors.
    • Guides implementation and/or administration of Business Development policies, guidelines, programs and standards, in organization unit(s) assigned.
    • Contributes to the development of corporate or unit business strategy.
    • Manages the development of strategic planning tools, and provides and checks consolidated business forecasts.
    • Collects portfolio requirements across all clusters sales force.
    • Advises senior management in evaluating strategic options.
    • Leads new strategies on various projects.
    • Manages market and business research programs.
    • Analyzes and evaluates strategic business segments, potential acquisitions/joint venture candidates.
    • Funnels and decides on requested sales portfolio per application / per technology.
    • Creates and ensures consistent application communications.

    Financial Reporting Professional

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Preparation of Group and Company Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
    • Preparation of branch Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
    • Liaising with external auditors during quarterly and annual audit
    • Preparation and coordination of annual branch audits
    • Resolving CF A and audit queries
    • Interim preparation for reporting of financial accounting information for shareholders
    • Coordination of quarterly data submission for additional statistical reports to shareholders
    • Extract and interpret information from financial records
    • Maintain knowledge of accounting information, keeping up to date with changing financial rules and regulations
    • Ad-hoc projects i.e. IFRS 15 implementation

    Key Performance Areas

    • Prepares consolidation, analysis and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements.
    • Reconciliation of project results with financial accounting reporting requirements
    • Ensure consistency in IT accounting system recons between sub-ledger and general ledger
    • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
    • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
    • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

    Experience

    4 - 7 years post article working experience in a financial/accounting environment

    Qualifications

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant
