    HR Practitioner (Lydenburg)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     HR Policies and Procedures

    • Provision of end-to-end HR policies and procedures, interpretation and advice.
    • Socialisation, onboarding and execution of policy and governance provisions.
    • Monitoring compliance to minimise deviations and reporting.
    • Alignment of divisional practices to strategic goals.

    Recruitment Selection and Deployment

    • Execution of recruitment processes in line with the workforce plan.
    •  Provision of end-to-end talent sourcing, acquisition and retention
    • Onboarding and induction of all employees for success in line with the company’s value proposition.

    Reporting

    • Delivery of key reports and HR metrics on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis.

     Discipline/Grievance Management

    • Ensure timeous management of grievances and disciplinary inquiries.
    • Provision of advisory and dispute resolution services to all employees.
    • Representation of the company at CCMA/bargaining council.

     Communication

    • Convene site partnership communication/meetings/forums.
    • Management of records of proceedings of all meetings attended  
    • Act as a change agent
    • Communication of divisional key messages including organizational culture initiatives.

     Administration

    • Timeous execution of all administration-related activities including internal audits.
    • Ensure proper document control.

     Performance Development and Talent Management

    • Facilitation of the Divisional performance development and talent management processes.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree / B-Tech: HR / Social Sciences / Industrial Psychology  
    • Post-graduate / Honours preferred
    • Registration with SABPP / HPCSA is advantageous. 

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3 to 6 years of hands-on Human Resources Operations
    • Experience in mining/production environment will be advantageous
    •  Proven track record of successful HR projects delivery
    • Solid knowledge of HR systems (HRIS).

    Metallurgical Solutions Specialist - Gauteng

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Management

    • Existing contract / project support – technology improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. 
    • New project support – implement new extractive metallurgy solutions to diversify our mineral processing service offering.
    • Manage the project life cycle related to new mineral processing and extractive metallurgy projects.
    • Manage the overall project costing related to extractive metallurgy projects through the project development phases.

    NextGen Solutions

    • Assist the Mineral Processing team to develop and implement operational readiness plans.Assist the mineral processing team with new technology implementation and review.Assist with operational improvements post new project development.Develop equipment and operational costing models for Fine and Ultra-fine Mineral Recovery such as Filtered Tailings, Ultrafine flotation and any other NMS. Consultant liaison to understand needs and opportunities in the market and integration of the Mineral Processing and Tailings divisions to deliver on differentiating NMS. Have a fundamental understanding of hydrometallurgy and how to unlock value downstream of mineral process solutions to offer a higher valued project.

    Communication, Consultation and Knowledge Sharing

    • Client liaison to understand needs, opportunities and NMS implementation.Ongoing knowledge transfer through coaching, mentoring and thought leadership. Meet on a continual basis with the various business development managers to understand and align business development opportunities.
    • Skills transfer – guide technical and operational teams.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Suggest, create, champion and implement new Special Projects to manage via the Srategic Project Office (SPO). 
    • Enhance SHEQ and apply the organisation’s ESG principles. 
    • Continuous review and improvement on efficiency of new solutions being implemented – data gathering, analysis, improvement. Establish project folder structure that allows project auditability and traceability.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree / diploma in chemical, mineral processing or metallurgical engineering or other relevant.
    • A business qualification will be advantageous.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 20+ years’ experience in metallurgical projects and business development. 
    • In depth understanding of mineral processing, process risk, management, operations, estimating, budgeting, cost control, and the mining industry. RSA, Africa and International experience in the mining industry.Implementation of new innovations and evolution within the mining industry. Leadership experience.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute initiatives or projects  aligned with the company’s vision for the future.

    General Worker - North West

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with team leaders / supervisors.
    • Perform inspections on designated area of responsibility everyday.
    • Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing area.
    • Assist with the problems solving on operational challenges and report ant deviation to the immediate supervisor.
    • Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislations and company procedure.
    • Extension and connecting of pipelines
    • Opening and closing of valves in line with operational lines.
    • Take responsibility for your performance.
    • Ensure a good housekeeping at all times.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent

    EXPERIENCE

    • 0-2 Years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Tailings dam operational background/ experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous.
