    Embroidery Senior Supervisor - Edenvale

    Job Objectives and Functions

    • Supervision and Leadership
    • Lead and supervise a team of embroidery operators, ensuring they adhere to production schedules and quality standards.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
    • Motivate and inspire team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality.

    Production Management

    • Plan and organize embroidery production schedules to meet customer deadlines and orders.
    • Monitor production processes to ensure efficient workflow and identify areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate with other departments, such as design and quality control, to ensure smooth production processes.

    Quality Control

    • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of embroidery work.
    • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify any defects or issues and take corrective actions.
    • Work closely with quality assurance team to address any quality-related concerns.

    Equipment Maintenance

    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of embroidery machines and equipment to ensure they operate smoothly.
    • Schedule regular maintenance checks and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

    Inventory Management

    • Manage inventory of materials, threads, and supplies required for embroidery production.
    • Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid production delays.

    Safety and Compliance

    • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the embroidery industry.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven experience in embroidery production, with at least [3-4 years] in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the textile industry.
    • A degree or certification in textile production, embroidery, or a related field is preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of embroidery techniques, materials, and equipment.
    • Proficiency in using embroidery software and equipment.

    Skills

    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize production tasks.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
    • Problem-solving abilities to address production issues and implement solutions.
    • Good communication skills to liaise with team members, management, and other departments.

    Sales Office Manager (Johannesburg)

    Customer Assistance

    • Resolve escalated issues and provide solutions
    • Give feedback on resolved issues to sales team/clients
    • Follow up on non-resolved issue

    People Management  

    • Monitor time and attendance daily.
    • Manage leave of RC’s and provide leave feedback to ASM when necessary.
    • Conduct Goal setting and Performance Reviews for RC’s.
    • Take corrective action where required and manage all HR driven initiatives and reviews for RC’s.

    Sales Administration 

    • Provide sales support to the ASM and RSM.
    • Provide detailed feedback on SOP report from Power BI by liaising with the entire RC sales team daily.
    • Maintain an accurate database of customer information.
    • Create and maintain shared files for the sales team.
    • Relay customer concerns or queries to relevant person.

    Sales analysis and reporting  

    • Pull different types of sales reports as and when needed.
    • Identifying problems with orders on the system and work with the sales team to resolve the issues.
    • Evaluate sales data and identify opportunities for cross selling, upselling and branding and work with sales team member to execute.
    • Responsible for analysing and presenting the effectiveness of sales campaigns and making recommendations on how to improve it.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    • NQF 7 in Business Administration/Office Management 
    • 2 to 3 years' Office manager or Sales Supervisor
