    Associate OMCC Consultant

    Supports OMCC Consultant to deliver all contracted client deliveries. Provides OMCC consultant with input to client strategy Supports OMCC consultant to deliver on the client strategy. Supports retention of existing business by ensuring services are met to the required agreed standards (SLA). Supports the new business take on function. Builds, enhances and manages client relationships through service delivery. Prepares the agenda and meeting pack for meetings Prepares investment/consulting reports/reviews for OMCC Consultant. Ensures that team is equipped with necessary documentation to proceed with meetings including printing and binding of necessary documentation. Attends meetings with OMCC Consultant. Takes minutes at meetings and produces the minutes after meetings. Co-ordinates and manages action items resultant from meetings. Liaises with and negotiates deadlines with relevant parties. Provides support to OMCC consultant/s including arranging and managing meetings and functions, receiving and handling calls, preparing presentations and other tasks.

    Lead a team to maintain and grow business by ensuring exceptional service.

    • Proactively lead a team of people to deliver on set out growth, expense and service targets.
    • Identify innovative methods to maximize sales and service opportunities within the set-out responsibilities.
    • Identify cross & up selling opportunities across all products and lead a team of people to deliver on the identified opportunities.
    • Review quotations and conversion ratio data to guide conversations / provide status updates and identify trends.

    • Effectively solve escalations/complaints and the management of expectations whilst correcting/processing is done. Coach and train individuals on corrections.

    • Identify issues that impede the business relationship between Old Mutual Insure and brokers/clients
    • Build networks and form strong relationships with important stakeholders.
    • Lead a team to deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer’s expectation through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
    • Manage people related matters i.e. attendance, performance, attrition within the team to ensure service level contributions are met/exceeded.
    • Manage all HR matters within the team including the disciplinary processes as set out by Old Mutual Insure.

    Job Description

    Fixed Term Contract: 6 months
    Temporary basis

    • Answer telephone and email queries from the brokers, based on updated logs
    • Analyse claim and confirm cover
    • Draft rejection letter if claim rejected
    • Request and analyse policy file and related documentation
    • Appoint assessor, if required
    • Capture/register claim
    • Settle claims within mandate
    • Recover 3rd party claims
    • Prepare payments file on successful recovery
    • Finalise claim as per Old Mutual Insure standard Keep broker informed at all times in terms of progress of claim

    Senior OMCC Consultant

     

    • Ensures strong relationship with trustees/management committees and clients so as to reduce business risk, ensure retention and identify opportunities for new business.
    • Manages and delivers consulting and advise services according to contracted service levels.
    • Provides general, secretarial, benefit, actuarial, communication, investment consulting, risk benefit and legal consulting services to existing clients.
    • Responsible for retention and growth of business against targets.
    • Markets new and enhanced products and services to clients.
    • Manages the launch of new clients and exit of discontinued funds.
    • Provides input to OM Corporate so as to enable product and services to be enhanced and developed.
    • Resolves top-level problems where OMCC Consultant needs assistance and support.
    • Intervenes in and resolves conflict situations.
    • Develops, leads and manages OMCC Consultant and Associate consultant
    • Meets overall OMCC objectives by supporting team members (Principal Consultants, Consultants and Associate Consultants)
    • Manages the expense and income budgets.

    • 10 plus years relevant experience, 5+ years at senior management level (or higher) in a corporate environment, preferably in the financial services sector.

    OMF Quantitative Analyst

    • Responsible for complex credit modelling, analysis and commentary.
    • Designs, constructs and documents credit models across the organisation and credit life cycle.
