    Contractor Change Management Practitioner

    Brief Description        

    • The purpose of this position is to design and manage the implementation of change management strategies, frameworks and capability within the Prudential Authority (PA). 

    Detailed Description        
    The scope of the role includes, but is not be limited to, the following key performance areas:

    • Provide detailed analysis of the current and desired state.
    • Develop and implement a change management strategy and plan to manage the change process.
    • Develop an effective stakeholder and communication strategy to ensure that the change activities are communicated to all the impacted stakeholders.
    • Conduct change readiness assessments and identify the barriers to change.
    • Identify the areas of resistance and develop a resistance management plan.
    • Manage and maintain the relationships with the PA change influencers.
    • Propose and implement the change interventions necessary for the success of the change projects within the PA.
    • Conduct a post-implementation assessment to assess, among others things, the realisation of the project benefits, adoption rate and proficiency levels of end users.
    • Ensure that the changes are reinforced and sustained.
    • Work closely with the trainers and ensure that stakeholders are identified for training and evaluate the training.

    Job Requirements        
    To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:

    • a Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in preferably Behavioural Science, Communication or any related field;
    • a minimum of five to eight years’ work experience;
    • any relevant change management certification;
    • change management theory and practice;

    working experience at a change management consultant level for projects in a multi-functional organisation; and
    experience in:

    •  project managing change initiatives or other relevant business experience;
    •  facilitating workshops; and
    •  negotiating for desired outcomes.

    Reward Analyst

    Brief Description        

    • To provide expert compensation and benefits consultative service within the South African Reserve Bank (the Bank) and provide fit-for-purpose solutions in respect of reward and analytics aligned to the Bank’s strategy.

    Detailed Description        
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    •  To support the Bank through the HRBPs in the development of fit for purpose solutions, policies, procedures and processes related to the Compensation and Benefits function.
    •  To implement the total reward strategy in support of the SARB’s recruitment, retention and performance management strategies.
    •  To provide analytical consultation services regarding compensation and benefits programmes in line with legislative requirements, organisational goals and compensation philosophy of the SARB.
    •  To benchmark compensation and benefit best practices, research, analyse and conduct salary and benefits surveys to ensure competitiveness in the attraction and retention of talent.
    •  To establish and manage relationships with key internal/ external stakeholders and service providers in order to ensure the provision of fit-for-purpose compensation and benefit solutions within the Bank.
    •  To facilitate job evaluation sessions to determine weights/evaluation of jobs for job grading, compensation, job design and/or organisation design.
    •  To provide management reports for effective decision making by relevant stakeholders and senior leadership.
    •  To participate in recognition agreements with the local union on reward issues when required.

    Job Requirements        
    To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

    •  A minimum of a Bachelor in Human Resources/Commerce or equivalent.
    •  Remuneration qualification or GRP certification.
    •  A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a compensation and benefits environment.

    Divisional Head: Data Management and Analytics

    Brief Description        

    • The main purpose of this position is to provide managerial leadership and strategic direction in the areas of data management and analytics in support of the financial stability mandate of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

    Detailed Description        
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    • Provide managerial leadership, thought leadership, strategic direction and manage the daily operations of the division.
    • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on the information and data requirements for macroprudential policy and financial stability.
    • Develop and drive the data management strategy for the Financial Stability Department (FinStab), including the development of frameworks to ensure fit-for-purpose information technology (IT) solutions and the application of methodologies in line with international best practices.
    • Oversee strategic initiatives for FinStab's development and maturing of data management, closing data gaps, ensuring efficient data collection, sharing, analysis and automating the compilation of standardised reports to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop an engagement framework to ensure cross-functional synergy within FinStab as well as in relation to other SARB departments and external stakeholders.
    • Represent FinStab on pertinent decision-making committees with regard to data management to advance the FinStab agenda.
    • Participate in international data management forums to ensure adherence and contribute to international standards.
    • Validate data management principles throughout the financial stability value chain to ensure the quality of the data.
    • Compile and manage a budget for the division and ensure expenditure within limits.
    • Ensure that institutional risks are identified, assessed and that adequate and effective risk mitigating measures are implemented.
    • Manage the performance and development of staff, direct human resources activities including approval of human resources plans or activities, and promote and support career management and development.

    Job Requirements        
    To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

    • a Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or Economics; and
    • 10 to 12 years’ job-related experience in economic statistics and data management, of which 3 to 5 years must be in a managerial position.

    Additional requirements include:

    • in-depth knowledge of international data governance protocols;

    • good understanding of data management and data security;
