    Business Analyst

    Purpose Statement

    • Liaise with business to formulate business specifications and functional descriptions to meet business requirements

    • Liaise with development team to hand-over functional descriptions

    • Compile test plans and ensure delivery is according to business requirements

    • Continuous business and industry research to guide the critical evaluation of new and existing software / application solutions

    Experience

    Min:

    • At least 3 – 5 years’ relevant business experience within the remote banking related channels

    • Basic project management experience


    Ideal:

    • At least 1 – 3 years’ experience as Product Analyst / Junior Business Analyst within the remote banking related channels

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant qualification in Information Technology

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis

    Knowledge

    Must have detailed knowledge of:

    • IT systems development processes

    • A relevant process modelling language (i.e. UML)

    Business Intelligence Analyst

    Purpose Statement

    • To utilize Data and Analytical skills to provide support to the wider Data & Analytics team, to specified internal clients within the Bank, and to Key business Forums and Committees. This would enable business to make better decision, and faster.

    • The role could focus on one of the other environments

      • Operations - Branches, Call centre, Cash Management x5

      • Credit Value Stream - Creditbook, Recoveries, Collections, Granting x3

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • At least 4 - 6 years’ experience in a reporting/analysis role, including experience in and understanding of database structure design and data extraction principles

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Engineering - Industrial

    Software Test Analyst

    Purpose Statement

    • To collaborate with the Business Analysts to define test scenarios

    • To prepare, participate in, and oversee the execution of test cases within a feature team

    • To participate in the validation of functional and non-functional test requirements

    • To participate in the preparation of test data in terms of input and expected outcome data

    • To participate in the preparation of required test environments
