    Systems Engineer

    Purpose Statement

    • Responsible for the implementation of individual applications on the Capitec Cognitive Platform according to industry standards and architect guidance.

    Experience

    • 5 years’ proven experience in software development
    • 2 years’ proven experience in software development on a cloud environment

    Risk Manager: Insurance Risk

    Purpose Statement

    To enable and support the ongoing risk management in the Capitec Insurance Division through:

    Enabling Management to identify risk, and providing oversight over risk management in the business.

    Implementing and maintaining a risk framework, including risk definitions, metrics, appetite, limits and approach. Taking ownership for the execution of end-to-end processes, projects, reports, etc.

    Monitoring and working with stakeholders on capital management and the management of reinsurance programmes.

    Contributing towards the fostering of a risk-focused culture within Capitec Insurance, including pro-actively engaging the business on risk approach and strategy.

    Experience

    MINIMUM:

    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the South Africa Insurance Industry
    • Analysing complex issues 
    • Calculating and/or reviewing financial soundness results of insurers, including Solvency Capital Requirement calculations
    • Ability to apply risk and capital expertise in commercial environment
    • Exposure to Corporate Governance Frameworks

    IDEAL:

    • 5+ years’ experience in the South Africa Insurance Industry (preferably in Risk Management and / or Actuarial Audit and Consulting)
    • Analysing complex issues 
    • Calculating and/or reviewing financial soundness results of insurers, including Solvency Capital Requirement calculations
    • Contributing to ORSA exercises
    • Ability to apply risk and capital expertise in commercial environment
    • Exposure to Corporate Governance Frameworks

    Lead: UX Designer

    Purpose Statement

    • To develop, evaluate, implement and influence world class User/Client Experience (UX) design for digital platforms whilst conforming to the Capitec brand fundamentals to optimise the client experience. 
    • To constantly enhance user experience through usability studies, contributing to translating feature requirements into interactive and visual designs across platforms, and work closely with Technology teams and User Interface (UI) Designers, and/or creating.
    • To lead and coordinate the UX team and ensure the team of UI/UX specialists are connected to clients’ needs, business requirements and technology stack, provide a clear direction for the UI/UX team, and take responsibility for the actions, projects and people.

    Business Manager

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • Banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 3 years should have been spent in the Business Banking environment.
