    Auditor, Internal, Technology (Group Internal Audit)

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    To execute the audit process effectively within relevant stakeholder environments by demonstrating a clear understanding to independently and objectively provide assurance and advice that enables client centric risk management. 

    • Contribute to the assessment of risk culture in audit projects.
    • Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements on internal audit
    • Contribute to the development of a risk-based audit project scope, through audit walk-throughs, data gathering and analysis, stakeholder engagement and critical thinking.
    • Capture and maintain GIA audit and finding data accurately and timeously to contribute towards insights and business management.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Qualifications, certifications or professional memberships

    • Any Relevant Degree (e.g. IT/ Computer Science/ Information Systems) (Min)
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (MIn)
    • Other Preferred Qualifications, certifications or professional memberships
    • Certified Information Security Management (CISM)
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
    • Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    Knowledge & Experience Required

    • 1 - 2 years: Working with data. Experience analysing and interpreting data and understanding IT controls
    • 3 - 4 years: Experience in performing IT general control and application controls reviews, as well as IT process audits. Experience in IT security and infrastructure reviews is preferable.

    Head, Internal Audit, Technology, Platforms & Payments (Group Internal Audit)

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    To lead and review the audit process for multiple portfolio's and area of specialty in line with the Group Internal Audit strategy to provide independent and objective assurance and advice within a segment or area of expertise to ensure sustainable client centric management of risk across SBG.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of GIA's strategy and operating model by applying insights from the SBG strategy and operating model, business unit strategy and operating model, products, services, client-base and competitive environment, industry and wider developments, regulatory environment, business developments and changes, operations, risk management practices and global assurance practices.
    • Contribute to GIA's technology strategy and implementation. Apply insights on practical audit needs, and from leading technology developments in wider fields, in financial services, within SBG and in risk and assurance practices.
    • Implement the people plan for the portfolio to attract, retain, develop, manage and lead people capable of delivering GIA's objectives. Monitor the effectiveness of the plan and provide regular feedback to inform further development and improvements to the plan.
    • Contribute to the development of GIA's data strategy. Implement the strategy across the portfolio.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Qualifications, certifications or professional memberships

    • Post Graduate Degree (NQF 8/9) (IT/Computer Science/Information Systems) - Preferred
    • Other relevant ISACA certifications (CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CCAK) - Preferred
    • Management/Leadership programmes through accredited institutes - Preferred
    • Financial services strategy programmes - Preferred
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Min
    • ISACA Membership Min

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    Experience Required

    • More than 10 years: Proven experience in project/programme management, and leading multiple projects across the organization. Experience in building partnerships and engaging with multiple stakeholders at senior levels across the ecosystem. Experience in understanding IT controls and analysing complex sets of data to interpret, visualize and identify trends. Experience in building and leading large teams; Change management experience.

    Behavioural & Technical Competencies

The effective display of the Leading People competency is highly dependent on the effective display of a number of other competencies. Leading people is about taking control of as well as coordinating people and resources. While there are many different views on what leadership is, in this case, the concern is not focused on what leadership is, but is rather focused on the generic behaviour associated with leading people.
    • IA Data Analysis:  The ability to inspect, transform and model data to inform and support the internal audit process and decision-making
    • Maintain IA Professional Practices: Knowledge of Internal Audit International Professional Practices and apply them to improve the audit methodology, and as a quality standard for audit engagement deliverables to ensure continuous improvement of the audit function.
    • IA Technology Application: The ability to utilise technology to source and analyse data that supports the internal audit process (risk assessments, full population testing) and drive visual presentation
    • Business Acumen (Audit): The ability to understand the current and future organizational environment including the economical and regulatory impact to inform risk assessment and recommendations on appropriate control and quality frameworks
