    Release Train Engineer

    What will you do?

    The Release Train Engineer manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART. The RTE facilitates, the ART events processes and assists teams in delivering value. The RTE communicates with a wide range of stakeholders, escalates impediments, helps manage risk and drives relentless improvement.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART using various tools such as the program kanban and other dashboards.
    • Establishes and communicates the annual calendars for iterations and program increments (PIs).
    • Facilitates PI Planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process which drives the synthesis of a vision, roadmap and backlogs, and through pre and post PI Planning meetings.
    • Facilitates the PI Planning event (end state).
    • Summarizes squad PI objectives into program PI objectives and publishes them for visibility and transparency.
    • Assists in tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
    • Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings including the ART sync at the essential level.
    • Assists with economic decision making through facilitating feature and capability estimation by squads and the roll up to epics.
    • Assists in enabling leaders, teams and agile facilitators with lean agile practices and mindsets.
    • Helps manage risk and dependences across squads within the ART.
    • Escalates and tracks impediments.
    • Provides input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
    • Encourages collaboration between squads.
    • Works with product management, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
    • Improves the flow of value streams by enhancing and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on demand in the continuous delivery pipeline.
    • Understands and operates with lean budgets and ensures adherence to guardrails.
    • Facilitates system demos.
    • Drives relentless improvement via inspect and adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART on an ongoing basis.
    • Fosters communities of practice and the use of engineering and built-in quality practices.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant IT Qualification (IT Diploma or Degree) RTE certification recommended

    Communications Co-ordinator

    What will you do?

    Responsible for developing, reviewing, co ordinating and approval of content for various communication elements, including but not limited to, newsletters, publications, executive broadcasts mailers, scripts, website, social media platforms etc. Engaging with key stakeholders and building in order to support and drive key initiatives across the Retail Mass cluster. Support, develop and drive project communication as well as marketing campaigns. Demonstrates sound knowledge of writing for digital platforms and inclination to digital. Applies TCF principles, tone, and brand governance consistently across all activities to project the Sanlam brand.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Degree or diploma in communications/Journalism or similar
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in similar role
    • Proficient in MS Outlook
    • Knowledge and understanding of Adobe, Adobe Photoshop, SharePoint and online platforms advantageous.
    • Drivers license and ability to travel for work

    • Ability to track and monitor engagement rates, as well as the ability to read these and find ways to increase engagement rates
    • Engaging with and working alongside Communication teams across Sanlam
    • Updating and maintaining the content on the homepage of the intranet

    • Good working knowledge and experience in briefing and working wit suppliers/ service provides to develop required collateral that supports the key objective and business strategy.

    Senior Application Business Analyst

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Performing impact assessments on BAU changes and support requests received from business, clients and vendors.
    • Gathering information and analyzing user requirements for business process improvements and system enhancements.
    • Writing business and functional specifications for business process and/or system enhancements.
    • Engaging with outsourced partners to complete requirement specifications and impact assessments.
    • Integration analysis, data analysis, dash-boarding and reporting specifications.
    • Engage with Project Business analysts in order to provide post-project implementation support to business
    • Work with key stakeholders to ensure business requirements, rules and controls are documented and signed off.
    • Facilitate regular forums where the backlog of work is prioritized by key stakeholders.
    • Participate in formal application change control processes.
    • Participate in formal incident management processes with both internal and external (Outsourced) teams.
    • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of the strategic and operational elements of the IT Support Process
    • Act as a source of leadership and guidance for the IT support team.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Matric and Relevant IT tertiary qualification
    • A formal Business Analysis certification
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Financial Services experience is essential
    • Collective Investment Schemes experience would be beneficial
    • Experience with tax reporting would be beneficial.
    • BI Experience would be beneficial
    • Experience in System Analysis and Design would be beneficial
    • Intermediate SQL skills is essential - Ability to use SQL to access, read, and manipulate data, as well as perform data analysis on the information stored in a database
